HAZMAT Management

Definition:

This market package integrates incident management capabilities with effective treatment of HAZMAT material incidents. The Virginia State Police, VDOT NOVA Safety Service Patrol, and NOVA Local Public Safety Centers are notified by the Commercial Vehicle if an incident occurs and coordinates the response. The response is coordinated through the Mobile Unified Command to quickly alleviate the incident and restore traffic back to normal operations.
