Wichita Office of Central Inspection

Definition:

The Wichita Office of Central Inspection (OCI) is responsible for on-site inspection of all building construction and remodeling permit work in the City of Wichita, including new construction, additions, remodeling and trade work (trade work includes electrical, mechanical, plumbing,sewer and elevators). OCI also performs inspections of new or altered business wall or pole/ground signage for which permits have been issued, and inspection on code enforcement cases initiated on existing structures and land uses.
