Description: Indianapolis Department of Public Works (DPW) maintains public infrastructure (including streets, sewers, bridges, and traffic systems) and manages municipal solid waste collection and disposal. DPW also ensures a healthy, safe, and natural environment (air, land, and water). DPW includes six divisions: Policy and Planning, Engineering, Operations, Solid Waste Management Section, Maintenance Operations Section, and Storm/Wastewater Management Section.
