VDOT Southwestern TOC/ATMS

Description: The VDOT Southwestern Traffic Operations Center (TOC) / Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) is a nerve center of an integrated system of advanced technologies including computer software, traffic cameras, ramp meters. From the VDOT Southwestern TOC/ATMS, VDOT monitors and manages traffic, recognizes and responds to incidents, and instantly delivers information to motorists. VDOT Southwestern TOC/ATMS is responsible for monitoring and managing traffic in Bristol, Salem, and Lynchburg District operations areas.
