VDOT Lynchburg District Maintenance Residencies

Status: Existing

Description: The residencies that are responsible for monitoring and managing roadway infrastructure and construction and maintenance activities. Residencies also participate in incident response by deploying maintenance and construction resources to an incident scene, in coordination with other centers. Maintenance activities within the district occur at Area Headquarters, while Construction activities are orchestrated at the Residencies. Maintenance divisions also have the ability to input data in Va Traffic.
