Project Description: RM3P Dynamic Incentivization (DI) incentivizes users to modify their travel choices and behaviors in response to real–time travel conditions. The GoMyWayVA app uses financial incentives to make alternative mobility options competitive with single–occupant vehicle travel.
GoMyWayVA is a multi–modal transportation app that empowers commuters by using real–time data and dynamic incentives to improve travel safety, reliability and mobility. The app enables Northern Virginia (NoVA) travelers to make travel choices that will save them time, money, and stress, and help to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion across the region. The app delivers a personalized approach to travel planning, with incentives to encourage users to make better travel choices — such as traveling during off–peak hours or using more efficient transportation modes. By advancing a progressive marketing approach with real–time incentives, short–term Challenges, and long–term loyalty rewards, GoMyWayVA seeks to achieve both immediate and long–lasting behavioral changes that help to improve the efficiency of the transportation network as a whole.
