Transit Fixed-Route Operations - NOVA District

This market package represents the routing and scheduling of transit vehicles associated with the NOVA Local Transit Centers, as well as automatic operator assignment and system monitoring for fixed-route and flexible-route transit services. These transit centers also plans to use information from the VDOT NOVA STSS and NOVA Local Signal Centers to aid with on-time performance. Static and real time transit data is exchanged with the Regional Transit Electronic Clearinghouse where it is integrated with that from other transportation modes to provide the public with integrated and personalized dynamic schedules.
