Definition:

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Department provides law enforcement and criminal justice services to Sedgwick County. Field operations are provided by the Department Operations Bureau that includes the Patrol Division and Investigation Division. The Department Detention Bureau operates the Sedgwick County Adult Detention Facility.
