• The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is responsible for using the KCJIS to alert public safety agencies in the in the Wichita area of extreme weather conditions (e.g., tornados).
• The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is responsible notifying the appropriate agencies of planned events of natural weather related incidents.
