Florida Fare Management Infrastructure Roles and Responsibilities
• Coordinate transit fare payment with other regional agencies.

Palm Beach County Transit Signal Priority Roles and Responsibilities
• Coordinate with the Palm County ITS Operations Facility for traffic signal priority.

Palm Tran MDT Upgrades Roles and Responsibilities
• Provide fixed-route and paratransit bus services for Palm Tran.
• Provide operator instructions and receive schedule performance information from Palm Tran vehicles while in service.

Palm Tran Real-Time Maintenance Updates Roles and Responsibilities
• Provide automated transit maintenance scheduling through automated vehicle condition reports on all Palm Tran vehicles.

Regional Fare Interoperability Roles and Responsibilities
• Provide transit schedule and fare information via the Palm Tran website and private sector traveler information systems.
• Provide a demand-responsive transit plan to users/travelers via Palm Tran customer information systems.
• Coordinate emergency plans with county EOCs, and provide emergency transit services for evacuations, fires, and disasters, including re-entry services.
• Provide automated transit maintenance scheduling through automated vehicle condition reports on all Palm Tran vehicles.
• Provide fixed-route and paratransit bus services for Palm Tran.
• Track and evaluate schedule performance on all Palm Tran vehicles.
• Provide transit security on all MDTA vehicles using silent alarms and onboard video surveillance in the future.
• Coordinate transit schedules with other local transit agencies, particularly for transit connections at transit transfer points.
• Coordinate transit security incidents with local police and the county sheriff.
• Coordinate transit fare payment with other regional agencies.
• Provide operator instructions and receive schedule performance information from Palm Tran vehicles while in service.
• Coordinate with multimodal transportation agencies, including airports, commuter rails, and heavy rail.
• Coordinate with the Palm County ITS Operations Facility for traffic signal priority.
• Provide transit passenger electronic fare payment capabilities on all Palm Tran vehicles and include smart card fare coordination with other regional transit agencies.
