Local Field Equipment

Status: Existing

Description: These devices are typically located along the roadside and are controlled by operators in local signal centers which aids them in monitoring and managing conditions. Examples include traffic controllers for the traffic signal system, CCTV, and vehicle detection. These devices are owned by the local signal centers separate from devices in this region that are owned by VDOT.
