VDOT's District 5: Hampton Roads District ITS Architecture

Welcome to Virginia DOT's District 5: Hampton Roads District Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Architecture web site. This site provides information on all aspects of transportation-related information exchanges for the Hampton Roads District. At the district level, it is important that each interface with other districts and the statewide elements are standardized. The architecture is consistent in how it shows the detailed exchange of information between the Hampton Roads District systems (e.g., Local Signal Centers) and other district systems.
