Eastern Transportation Coalition

Description: The Eastern Transportation Coalition has public agencies along the Eastern (I–95) corridor as its members. Member agencies share information with one another and sponsor projects together to improve transportation in the region.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Emergency Management
• Supports coordination of evacuation plans among federal state and local transportation, emergency and law enforcement agencies that may be involved in a large scale evacuation
• Interface with other transportation agencies to support coordinated emergency response invovling multiple agencies

Incident Management
• Interface with VDOT NOVA and other transportation agencies to support coordinated emergency/incident response involving multiple agencies on the I-95 Corridor
