Virginia's Statewide and Regional ITS Architectures
Welcome to Virginia DOT's District 6: Fredericksburg District Regional Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Architecture web site. This site provides information on all aspects of transportation-related information exchanges for the Fredericksburg District. At the district level, it is important that each interface with other districts and the statewide elements are standardized. The architecture is consistent in how it shows the detailed exchange of information between the Fredericksburg District systems (e.g., Local Signal Centers) and other district systems. This architecture also defines the details for the Fredericksburg District ITS including the district-to-statewide element interactions.
