Electronic Toll Collection

Definition:

This market package provides toll operators of VDOT NOVA and Greenway Center with the ability to collect tolls electronically and detect and process violations. Vehicle tags of toll violators can be read and electronically posted to vehicle owners. The toll tags and roadside readers that these systems utilize can also be used to collect road use statistics for the VDOT NOVA STC.
