Virginia Smart Travel Program

Definition:

The Virginia Smart Travel Program manages all ITS programs in the state. It is also responsible for the development of a statewide traveler information system.

Traveler Information Services
• Serve as the statewide ATIS Clearinghouse for Virginia. Data from the clearinghouse will be used for 511 telephone and website services as well as other traveler dissemination methods
