1.6.1.7 - Execute Local Control Strategy
This page shows the collection of processes that are responsible for maintaining the local traffic control parameters and for selecting the appropriate strategy, based on roadway events and detected hazards.
The key points about the facility are as follows:
- Responsible for controlling traffic volume at passive grade crossings,
- Responsible for closing the HRI to traffic.
There are two processes defined as Process Specifications (PSpecs) in this collection:
1) Control Traffic Volume at Active HRI (1.6.1.7.1)
2) Close HRI on Command (1.6.1.7.3)
