10.1.7: Manage Center Map Data

This process shall manage the digitized map data used for center based fleet routing maps and monitoring of fleet vehicle, work zone activity status, or deployed equipment locations. The process shall obtain the new data from Manage Map Data function after receiving an update request from the center system operator interface process within the function. The process shall obtain route restrictions that are unique to the type of fleet vehicles managed by the center (i.e. HAZMAT vehicle restrictions). This process shall manage the store of fleet map data. Centers that have updates to make to the source maps shall provide their inputs to the Manage Map Data function in order for the map data to be updated for use by other systems and travelers.
