10.7.4: Coordinate with Other Map Update Systems

This process shall continuously communicate and exchange data with Geographic Information System (GIS) map update operators and systems. The exchange of data shall be triggered by either a request from a remote Map Update System facility for data from the operators or systems to which the Manage Map Update function belongs, or because data needs to be sent from the local Map Update facility to another remote Map Update System. This data shall include both static (roadway geometry, intersection details) and dynamic (transit stops, seasonal changes) map update data.
