2.8.1.3: Manage Container Release

This process shall be responsible for managing release of delivered intermodal containers. The process shall coordinate the release of the container with the Other Mode Shipper (e.g. short-haul dray operators or longer-haul freight consolidators) and with the Customs Agency (not currently shown for CVRIA). The process shall provide information on release status to Distribution and Logistics Management Providers and Fleet Managers.
