2.8.3.1: Provide Driver Interface for Intermodal Freight Dispatch

This process shall be responsible for providing the interface between the Fleet and Freight Management function and the Commercial Vehicle Driver for the assignment and routing of intermodal shipment pickup and delivery. These include dispatch instructions for the pickup and drop-off of short-haul drayage assignments. This process shall receive the dispatch instructions from the Manage Drayage Operations, including the location of the pick-up/drop-off. This process shall then provide the driver with the route instructions and transport assignment details.
