3.1.6: Provide Vehicle Acceleration and Deceleration Inputs

This process shall manage the information to be sent to the vehicle databus in order for it to determine optimum acceleration and deceleration profiles based on driver input, traffic conditions, environmental conditions, vehicle on-board system status, management center inputs. When activated by the driver through the Provide Traveler Services in Vehicle function, this process shall determine the best acceleration and/or deceleration profile. This process shall send data directly to the vehicle databus for it to make adjustments as needed. This process shall use information concerning surrounding vehicles to make adjustments to the information provided to the vehicle databus in the case of platooning or simply vehicles that are in the host vehicle's path.
