Roles and Responsibilities:

Transit Management for Southwest Florida Regional ITS Architecture - FDOT District 1
• Provide fixed-route school bus service for the FDOT District 1 region.
• Coordinate emergency plans with county EOCs, and provide emergency transit services for evacuations, fires, and disasters, including re-entry services.
• Provide school bus schedule and route information to the school district Web site.
• Provide transit security on all transit vehicles using silent alarms and surveillance systems.
• Track and evaluate schedule performance on all school district vehicles.
