VPA Terminals Operations Center

Status: Existing

Description: This element represents the Operations center that operates the terminals of the Port of Virginia in the Hampton Roads area. It is owned and operated by Virginia Port Authority. The port has five existing general cargo terminals–Norfolk International Terminals (NIT), Portsmouth Marine Terminal (PMT), Newport News Marine Terminal (NNMT), APM–Maersk Terminals and the Virginia Inland Port. The Port of Virginia will have another terminal in the future, Phase I of which will be completed in 2017 and phase II will be completed by 2032.
