VDOT TTRIP System

Status: Planned

Description: The Virginia Department of Transportation's (VDOT) Traffic, Traveler, and Road Information Program (TTRIP) System supports the ingest, translation, fusion, archiving, and dissemination of various data sources. Major components include enhancements to VDOT's SmarterRoads Data Portal and a new 511 website and associated mobile apps. As a part of the TTRIP System, a VDOT Incident Response mobile app provides real–time incident information and situational details for VDOT Incident Management Coordinators and other field staff as well as executives for awareness.
